I’m so excited to share my plans for my farmhouse laundry room makeover! I have been planning this makeover for a few years and I am finally ready to make it happen. When I heard about this month’s $100 Room Challenge hosted by Erin at Lemons, Lavender & Laundry I knew I wanted to participate!
Decorate
A couple months ago I found an adorable pair of vintage chairs at a garage sale for only $5 each! While I was getting ready to photograph the chairs for the “before photo” my daughter climbed onto one of them and broke the seat. I was really bummed at first, but as I brainstormed ideas for the broken chair I came up with a great solution!
Last week I was browsing Facebook Marketplace when I came across the most beautiful vintage sewing cabinet! I was immediately drawn to the curved top and adorable detailed legs. The owner said it was most likely made in the 1940’s, and it is in such great condition! I knew I had to have it and give it a makeover.
My grandmother had quite a collection of vintage handkerchiefs. I was able to keep a couple of them after she passed, and have kept them in my jewelry box ever since. They are such a sweet sentimental reminder of her. I thought they would look beautiful framed and displayed where everyone could admire them!
I’ve been needing to give my office a makeover for a few years now (almost 4 years to be exact!). Ever since we moved into our builder grade home a few years ago I’ve been meaning to decorate the room. It has evolved over the years, first starting as a combined office/guest room, and now it is a shared office space for my husband and I. Now it is finally time to make it a beautiful office for the both of us!
