This week for the One Room challenge I finished a mirror transformation with Frame My Mirror! I have been wanting to change up the look of the mirror in my primary bathroom, and this was the perfect solution.
The One Room Challenge is a place full of inspiration for all things home! I have been joining in on this event for the last few years and it gives me so much motivation to finish up a room in 8 weeks. Some of my favorite challenges include my kitchen makeover, girls’ bathroom makeover, and primary bedroom makeover.
This week I changed up quite a few things in my primary bathroom! First I painted the cabinets on the vanity, then added new brass hardware, and added a frame to the mirror! I am loving how these changes have transformed the room.
I received a kit from Frame My Mirror that had everything I needed to change the look of my builder grade mirror. It came with hardware and detailed instructions on how to install it, making it easy to put together!
First I laid out the pieces and worked on assembling them. I added glue to each joint and then hammered in the joint pieces to connect the pieces.
Then I changed out the old mirror clips with the new low profile clips. This is so that the frame can sit flat over them once it is placed on the mirror.
After using the guides to find the correct placement on the mirror, I removed the backing on the double sided tape. I placed the frame onto the mirror and pressed down to make sure the tape adhered, and I was done!
Here is a before and after, showing the difference the frame makes on the mirror:
It makes such a difference, right?? I’m loving the impact the frame has on the room.
- Towel Hooks by the shower
- Update the floor grout with a grout pen
- Add Art
- Install bidet toilet seat
- Update my shower head
It’s almost the big reveal, and I have just a few more things to finish. Make sure to stop by in a few days for the big reveal!
