I’ve been a busy bee getting some of my primary bathroom updates finished! This is week 3 of the One Room Challenge and I’m crossing a lot of things off my list!

The One Room Challenge happens twice a year, in the spring and fall. I love participating because it gives us some motivation to finish a room in 8 weeks! I’ve participated quite a few times already (like my master bedroom, my girls’ bathroom, and kitchen makeover!) Each time I am excited to tackle a new room.
Here is another look at the before and my mood board:

This last week I worked on painting the cabinets on the built-in vanity, & painting the water closet. I was able to use some leftover paint from my kitchen remodel for the cabinets, and I’m so glad I did! The color I used was Pewter Green from Sherwin Williams.
For the water closet I used Pure White from Sherwin Williams, and for the accent wall I used Coney Island from Behr (more leftover paint!). I wanted to give this small room some visual interest without breaking the bank, so an accent wall did the trick.

The next few things on my to-do list include:
- adding a frame to the large mirror
- installing hardware on the vanity
- installing new faucets / shower head
- adding a new toilet seat
- decorating!
I’m so ready to finish up the rest of my list so that I can show you the reveal of my primary bathroom.
This round will include many budget friendly bathroom updates including:
- painting the counters with epoxy paint
- painting the existing vanity
- painting an accent wall
- adding a frame to the existing mirror
- updating the floor tile grout with a grout pen
- updating a second-hand lamp
Stay tuned for the rest of the progress on the bathroom, and the reveal in a few weeks!
