New Bathroom Faucets from Pfister
For our bathroom makeover I wanted to totally change the look and feel of the room. We started with a builder grade bathroom with all the basics, but I wanted it to have lots of character. Thanks to Pfister, that became a reality!
Here is a look at the before of our bathroom:
The first element I wanted to add to the room was new tile, and I had a vision of a backsplash that went all the way up to the ceiling. I knew this would make a big visual impact on the room!
After I settled on the type and color of my wall tile (I’m all about dark grey in my home right now!) I new that I would need the faucets to stand out against the dark color. That lead me to pick gold for the faucets!
I decided to pick the Pfister Contempra 2-Handle 8″ Widespread Bathroom Faucets in Brushed Gold – and I’m SO happy that I did! They provide a pop of contrast against the grey tile and are so beautiful!
Let’s take a look at the AFTER:
For the countertops I wanted to add an element of warmth and texture, which lead to the butcher block countertop! I cut it to size, sanded it, stained with Special Walnut, and then sealed it with multiple coats of polyurethane.
The drop in sinks were a great find, as they fit the countertop so well and were easy to install. They go seamlessly with the new Contempra faucets and make the brushed gold really pop.
After we had the other elements in the room completed including painting the walls & cabinets, this vanity was totally transformed! It looks nothing like the before, and I’m still obsessing over it!
The feature that I’m so impressed with is the quality of the material. Not only do they look amazing, but the weight of them is very substantial. These are so worth the investment because they will last for years to come.
I’m so happy we added the Pfister faucets to our girls’ bathroom. The girls love the “fancy” faucets and have been enjoying their beautiful bathroom so much.
Do you have a bathroom makeover in the works? If so I’d love to hear about it in the comments!
