We have finished our girls’ bathroom makeover and reveal day is here! I’m so happy with how this bathroom renovation came together, and am excited to share all the details with you!

WEEK 1 | WEEK 2 | WEEK 3 | WEEK 4 | WEEK 5 | WEEK 6
This is my 6th One Room Challenge and it’s such a thrill every time! The 8 week timeline is a great motivation to finish a room and I love seeing other talented designers tackling their rooms as well.
For this challenge I started with my bathroom design plan. Then we got to work with lots of demo, painting the walls and cabinets, adding a new countertop, adding tile and board and batten, and now the final reveal!

Thank you to my amazing sponsors of this makeover! I loved working with them to make this room come together.
Girls’ Bathroom Makeover Reveal
I wanted our girls’ bathroom to have a 1920’s look to it, with some dark moody tile and color on the walls. The builder grade large mirror, circus light, square tile counter, and oak cabinets needed an upgrade!
The elements that really define this bathroom makeover are the separate mirrors, new vanity light, painted vanity, dark tile and grout, new gold faucets, and the board and batten hook rail with beautiful art above it. We also installed a new butcher block countertop that we stained, cut, and sealed ourselves. We also installed a new bidet seat on our toilet to give it an upgrade!
There were some challenges along the way, like figuring out how to cut the holes in the butcher block and powering through some injuries. With the help of some friends we were able to get all our projects done in time, and we are so thankful to them for their help!
Let’s see the reveal photos shall we?
