Hello, friends! I’ve been working on our 60’s ranch fixer upper, giving our guest bathroom, living room, and my daughter’s nursery makeovers. Lately I’ve been doing some projects in our family room and styling some modern outdoor candle lanterns on our fireplace. I’ve had these outdoor lanterns for quite some time, and I’m happy I found a home for them in our new home!

One of my favorite ways to shop is hunting for deals in the clearance section. A few years ago I found some beautiful white large outdoor lanterns at Target for 50% off and had them in our master bathroom. After we moved into our fixer upper 6 months ago I wasn’t sure where to put them, but I’ve found a great spot for them on our fireplace!
I gave our fireplace a makeover a few months ago using lime wash, and I just love how it turned out! It completely modernized the fireplace and changed the whole look of the room. If you’re on the fence about changing the look of your fireplace, I totally recommend using this lime wash!
