Since we moved into our fixer upper a few months ago I’ve been picking up items for our new home. I’m excited to share with you some of my favorite things!

Seagrass Basket from Target

This week's favorite things include the books Magnolia Table, Homebody, botanical wall decals, and my favorite seagrass basket and faux fiddle leaf fig! From A Heart Filled Home!

I’ve been admiring seagrass baskets for quite some time, but for some reason just hadn’t purchased one. When I found this one from Target for under $20 I was sold!

It is pretty large, and perfect for storage or for a plant. Right now I have it holding my faux fiddle leaf fig tree and it’s the perfect size for it! The basket brings some needed texture and warmth to the room.

Faux Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree from QVC

This week's favorite things include the books Magnolia Table, Homebody, botanical wall decals, and my favorite seagrass basket and faux fiddle leaf fig! From A Heart Filled Home!

For over a year I’ve been eyeing this faux fiddle leaf fig tree form QVC. I’ve seen others rave about the quality and look of the tree and finally purchased one for myself around Christmas time. And let me tell you – the hype is true! I can’t believe that this tree is less than $70!

The quality is so great, and it looks so realistic. The only thing that you need to be warned about is that it comes with a very tiny base, so it needs to be set in a basket or crock to make it more stable. I placed mine in this seagrass basket and wrapped a towel around it so that it was stable. I’m so happy with this purchase and highly recommend it!

Homebody by Joanna Gaines

If you’re interested in home decor, then you NEED to get the book Homebody by Joanna Gaines! It is a total game changer for designing and decorating your home.

I received it as a Christmas gift last year and I’m still enjoying it. Even after I finish reading it I’ll want to hold onto it for as long as possible to have as a reference to look back to later! I highly recommend it!

Botanical Wall Decals

This bedroom started as a dark navy blue room, but you should see it now! This beautiful farmhouse nursery was transformed with botanical decor! From A Heart Filled Home

I’ve been working on giving my daughter’s nursery a much needed makeover (well who am I kidding – every room in our fixer upper needed a makeover!). I love little girl’s rooms that have a mix of modern farmhouse, and some classic feminine touches.

When I found these botanical wall decals from In An Instant Art on Etsy, I instantly knew they needed to go in her room! I already had some floral art and these botanical wall decals would be the perfect element for above her crib. The quality of these decals are amazing and you can stick, unstick, and stick them again! Perfect for little adjustments as you are applying them to your wall.

Magnolia Table by Joanna Gaines

This is another book that I received for Christmas last year, and I was just as excited to receive it! I admire Joanna Gaines for not only decorating, but also her style and dedication to cooking for her family. I love being able to have her collection of recipes in my kitchen!

I just made 2 of Joanna’s recipes this month and they were both amazing! I highly recommend her cookbook Magnolia Table, you’ll love it!

Thanks for stopping by the blog today! I hope you enjoyed seeing some of my favorite things I’ve found lately, and that you have gotten some inspiration! All of these things would make great gifts – or to gift to yourself πŸ˜‰
