Happy Friday, friends! I don’t know about you, but I’m so ready for this weekend. We’re going to be celebrating our youngest daughter’s first birthday with family and friends. It’s going to be so special – and I know I’ve said this before, but I just can’t believe that a whole year has flown by already!
I’ve been shopping for things for my daughter’s nursery lately and finding some really cute decor! A couple weeks ago I found this monogram floral flag that I’m so excited about, and I’ve added a few more things to make the room come to life!

White Wood Scalloped Shelves
I’ve been eyeing these white wood scalloped shelves at Hobby Lobby for almost over a year now, and couldn’t ever find any in-store that weren’t chipped and damaged. Luckily I just found a couple at our local store that were in good condition and 50% off, so I scooped them up!
I love the feminine scalloped edges, and they are perfect for displaying little sentimental trinkets and framed photos. They are the sweetest shelves for my daughter’s room.
Wood Bead Clothespin Garland
I found this awesome wood bead clothespin garland at Hobby Lobby a few weeks ago, and I couldn’t pass it up! My second grader loves to display artwork and special papers and cards. This is the perfect way for her to have a place above her desk to display those special things!
I love that it brings a natural color and texture to her room. She requested that we paint her walls pink, so the wood beads will be perfect to bring some contrast!
Farmhouse Welcome Sign
While on Instagram the other day, I spotted this black and white welcome sign from Joann’s. I instantly fell in love with the black, white, and wood colors and the lettering. I’ll be displaying it in our entry way!
I don’t usually look for decor at Joann’s but they have such a great selection this year! They have such a beautiful selection of spring decor. It is definitely worth checking out! I saw some beautiful signs, planters, and pillows!
Modern Farmhouse Runner
I now have 2 sizes of this modern farmhouse rug because I just love it so much! First I got the smallest size for 2 of the entrances in our home. Then when we moved to our fixer upper I really wanted a runner for our hallway.
I looked at tons of other colors and patterns, but I just came back to this one that I love so much! It is super affordable, from Target, and just seems like the perfect blend between modern and farmhouse. I love the contrast of the dark grey and white, and the pattern is gorgeous!
L’Oreal Paris Voluminus Lash Paradise Mascara
I’m not a huge makeup person. So if I’m recommending a makeup product then it must be amazing! I’ve been hunting for the perfect mascara for years and I must say that L’Oreal Paris Voluminus Lash Paradise is the best one I’ve ever tried!
I have sensitive skin and eyes, so I have to use mascara that isn’t irritating. There have been so many different mascaras that I’ve tried in the past that have irritated my eyes or skin. I’m happy to say that this one passes the test! It has amazing coverage and is super affordable. It’s definitely a win!
