Good morning, friends! I’m excited to be sharing with you for another week of my Friday Favorite Things! Since moving into our fixer upper a couple months ago, we have been trying to get unpacked and arrange our furniture. We needed to add a few things to our new home, and I’m sharing a few of those items today!

Walmart Modern Farmhouse Recliner

The first item is one that I’m super excited about! Sarah from Sarah Joy Blog shared a review of these Walmart recliner chairs – and I have to say that she’s right on point! After she shared these on Instagram a few weeks ago I was sold, and purchased them for our family room.
They are even prettier in person, are so comfy, and oh yeah .. they recline! I’m so excited about these chairs, I always want to sit in them. When my husband mentioned that he wanted seating that reclined, I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to find something that fit my style. But these totally do! They are beautiful, comfortable, and are super budget-friendly! I highly recommend them!
Faux Fiddle Leaf Tree from Target

When Joanna Gaines started partnering with Target for her Hearth and Hand line, I was literally giddy. I’m serious! I was texting my close friends expressing my sheer excitement that I could have a little bit of Magnolia in my home for an affordable price. I mean Target is already my favorite store. When you throw in a Joanna Gaines line, you can be sure that I’ll be there!
There have been so many beautiful things in her line at Target, including some of my favorite napkins, flour sack kitchen towels, table runners, and now bedding and pillows! One of my favorite new items is the faux fiddle leaf trees that are super affordable compared to other stores!
I picked up both the small and medium sized faux fiddle leaf plants, and they really do look very real! I also love that they come in terra-cotta containers that are very heavy and sturdy. I don’t have to worry about my kiddos getting into dirt or easily tipping the plants over!
Accordian Wood Expandable Coat Rack from Amazon

I’ve been seeing these accordion wood expandable coat racks all over Instagram and Pinterest, and I love the simple vintage feel to them. I found some on Etsy that were truly vintage, but then thought that I might be able to find some more affordable options on Amazon. And I did!
Can you believe this one is less than $6? I was so excited to find such a budget friendly option that was delivered in only 2 days! Side note: anyone else obsessed with 2-day shipping?! I’m definitely spoiled by Amazon Prime and want to get everything delivered in 2 days!
I hung up one of these racks in our entry way behind our front door, and I just ordered another one for my daughter’s room. She needs a place to hang her jewelry, scarves, and little purses and bags. This little accordion wood expandable rack is perfect! I’m also thinking about spray-painting it for a different look!
Bin Organizer Shelf from Target

When we were moving and unpacking all our kid’s toys in our new fixer upper, we definitely needed an attractive organization solution. I didn’t want our family room / play room to be totally disheveled and organized. Clutter definitely stresses me out and I needed a way to contain all the things!
I did a ton of research for organizational furniture that was both kid friendly, and looked stylish. I finally landed on this beautiful modern bin organizer shelf from Target that has black iron legs and a wood finish. It looks gorgeous, was super easy to assemble, and feels super sturdy. I’m so happy with this purchase and highly recommend it!
Hobby Lobby Jeremiah Scripture Farmhouse Artwork

I’ve had this set of wood artwork for almost 2 years now, and I still love it so much! I displayed them in my daughter’s nursery in our last house, and I’m thinking of moving them to my oldest daughter’s room now that we’ve moved into our fixer upper. They are neutral and go with just about any color or decor!
Hobby Lobby hit it out of the park with these – they are beautiful and sturdy and the perfect artwork for just about any room or space in your home!
Sinnerlig Basket Weave Pendant Light from Ikea

Last month I took a trip to visit family in Northern California and was able to stop by Ikea! I was so excited to make a stop there because it is 4 hours away so I don’t get to go very often. I had my eye on some pendant lighting and file cabinets for our new home.
I picked up this Sinnerlig pendant light for our home office. I love the natural texture and warmth it will bring to our office space! It will be such a great statement in the room. I can’t wait ti share progress of the space very soon!
Did you catch up on my latest update about our fixer upper? I’m so excited to keep working on our new home!
