I cannot believe that Christmas time is almost here, and I’m so excited to start decorating! Last year I did some serious decluttering and got rid of quite a few of my Christmas items that I no longer loved or used. This year I have somewhat of a fresh start and have been looking for some farmhouse Christmas decor that will fit well with my home decor, and are still budget friendly!
My usual strategy for finding budget friendly Christmas decor is to wait for the after-Christmas sales so that I can get great deals and save as much money as I possibly can. While this has been a good strategy for me in the past, I have found that the items that I absolutely love are usually gone by the time the after-Christmas sales come around. The popular items sell out quickly and then I’m out of luck by the time I go out looking for them!
I’ve learned that if I find something that I absolutely love and will regret not buying it – it’s better to just pull the trigger and buy it ASAP! I do still save money and time by shopping at affordable stores and not spending as much time hunting around during the after Christmas sales.
Another thing I do is take advantage of shopping online – this saves me time to shop from home (without having to take my kids with me to the store!), saves me from using gas to drive there, and during the Holidays stores usually offer free shipping!
While shopping around online for farmhouse style Christmas decor I found some gorgeous items that are still very affordable! All of the items are under $50 – so you’ll still have some money to take care of all that Christmas shopping that needs to be done. Win-win!
